Discovering Portugal on an SSV
This ‘star’ raid is above all designed to be convivial. In fact, you'll always be staying in the same place, in a private house with all the amenities. You'll also have a washing and mechanics area, as well as a dining area (breakfast and dinner in the evening).
Lunch will be taken during the raid, either in a restaurant or in the form of a picnic.
You'll pass through some magnificent places, but your driving skills will be put to the test on some of the more technical sections.
This raid is therefore reserved for experienced pilots (at least average level). The following maps will give you an idea of the regions crossed, but they are not the maps with the actual tracks... You will receive the tracks to load into your Tripy (which you can hire from us). This means that you will be partly autonomous. However, a 4 x 4 will be on // the tracks and can intervene if necessary, It will also be present in the more delicate passages.
A magnificent week in perspective, during which you'll get a real eyeful and make some great memories.

The Douro River originates in Spain and flows into the Atlantic Ocean in Porto.
Northern Portugal, with its lush nature due to heavy autumn rains, is a very interesting region to visit. Between the hills, forests, and valleys, there are cosmopolitan cities and villages where time seems to have stopped. - https://www.portugal.net/en/north-portugal/
The climate in northern Portugal is strongly influenced by the Atlantic coast, which brings more wind and humidity than in the rest of the country. The high-altitude areas experience some snowfall in winter, as mentioned above.
